Juggle Bubbles
What you need: nine normal un-inflated balloons (the kind that will be roundish when you blow them up and the normal birthday party size), some bird seed or pellets of some kind, scissors (if you know you're not allowed to use scissors, don't do this without someone who can use them for you.) and a funnel.
Step1: Blow one of the balloons all the way up and hold it for 30 seconds. Let the are out
Step2: Fill it tightly with birdseed (using a funnel.) You need to get lots of seeds into the balloon--more than fit comfortably. This means working the funnel up and down and stuffing more and more in until you have the size beanbag that you want--you don't want wimpy sized beanbags! (TIP: You may want to use an exact amount so each beanbag will be the same size. I would use at least 3/4 of a cup. It doesn't fit easily, be patient and work it in.)
Step3: Cut the neck off of the other two balloons and wrap them tightly around the first with the opening ending up on the opposite side of each other's opening.
Step4: Repeat steps 1-3 two (or however many you need) more times and start juggling!
JUGGLING BALLS
Or...if you want something that will stay perfectly round that won't bounce away and look slightly more professional, try this:
What you need: 3 tennis balls, 6 balloons, funnel, bird seed or your favorite filling
1. Find an adult to carefully make a slit in each tennis ball, big enough to stick your funnel into.
2. Fill each ball with the exact same amount of bird seed--but DO NOT FILL...leave at least 1/4 empty. (this will keep the ball from rolling away from you quite as much.)
3. Cut the neck off two balloons and stretch them over the ball one at a time. Make sure the openings are on opposite sides, so no tennis ball shows.
4. Repeat Steps 1-3 as many times as needed and start
juggling. HAVE FUN!
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR HOW TO MAKE BOUNCY BALLS---use 3 golf balls and 1 or 2 bags of rubber bands per ball to make a round rubber band ball!
