Beanbags

Juggling & FUN
These beanbags are sewn on the sewing machine. But if you're
up for quick and
easy...and you know how to use a sewing machine, or have a mom or dad
that does.
This is really easy. Kathy and I made 120 of the ones pictured
above as party favors
to give away at our wedding...it only took us a few hours (and most was
stamping the name
and date and painting a cross on each one.) I turned one at each
angle above so you
could have a better idea of how they are put together.
What you need:
- 3 rectangular pieces of cloth 7 1/2 inches by 4 inches.
- Polly-pellets from Wal*Mart or some other store (birdseed will
work fine...just don't forget and wash them.)
- sewing machine and thread
- Step1: Fold the rectangle in half so that it is close to
making a square
- Step2: Sew the two open sides that are next to the fold.
- Step3: Turn inside out
- Step4: Fill with at least 1/2 cup of pellets.
- Step5: Turn in the top opening so all the edges are on the
inside of the beanbag
- Step6: For pyramid shape, pull the center of each side
apart (so the other seems wind up in the center of each side) and sew
all the way across that last opening. (if you want
squares...just sew across without pulling the sides apart.)
